Ans. Ectoparasite feeds on the external surface of the host organism, e.g., Lice on humans and ticks on dogs. Much marine fish are infested with ectoparasitic copepods.
Endoparasites live inside the host body at different sites (liver, kidney, lungs, red blood cells, etc.). Such as malarial parasites P. vivax, gut parasites, i.e., tapeworm.
Their morphological and anatomical features of endoparasites are greatly simplified while emphasizing their reproductive potential.
