NEET Syllabus is divided into four subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Students need to complete all 97 chapters of NEET Syllabus in order to score good rank in NEET Exam. FAQs Regarding Dates

Q: Who conducts NEET?

A: Previously, CBSE was the conducting authority for NEET; however there has been a change and National Testing Agency will be conducting the NEET from 2019 onwards.

Q: What is the mode of the exam?

A: The exam will be conducted offline, in pen and paper form at a sanctioned examination centre.

Q: What is the marking scheme for NEET?

A: Every correct answer earns you 4 marks; and with 180 questions in totality, the maximum  marks are 720.

Q: Is there any negative marking?

A: Yes, 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Q: Will I lose any marks if I don’t attempt a question?

A: No, leaving questions will not result in any negative marking.

Q: What is the total time for NEET?

A: 3 hours (180 Minutes).

Q: Is there any time limit for the respective sections in the exam?

A: Fortunately, no. You can spend however long you want on whichever section you want.

Q: What is the syllabus for NEET, as in, what subjects do I need to prepare for?

A: You will need to prepare Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Biology is divided in two parts: Zoology and Botany.

Q: Does the exam time differ for people with disabilities?

A: Yes. Originally, candidates will have 3 hours for the exam. However, candidates with physical disabilities will have 3.5 hours for the same.

Q: Is it possible to change language of exam?

A: Once your application form has been submitted, it is not possible to change your choice of examination language.
